Microsoft Middle East and Africa presented us with an interesting problem to solve. They wanted to drive internal knowledge and passion for their Consumer Product line amongst their own workers. This line - which includes the Microsoft Kinect, Bing search and maps, the Windows Phone 7 devices, Internet Explorer version 9, and others - is a source of pride for the company, all being tools and devices at the forefront of their respective markets.

In order to deliver a huge amount of technical knowledge about this product, we created a Facebook application called TowerPlay. In a 'Sims' and 'FarmVille' fashion, the game consisted of growing a virtual office building tower, adding floors everyday by answering correctly to questions about these products. The game also gave the opportunity for the user to 'steal' a certain number of floors from other towers each day, also by answering correctly to more product questions. Through a mobile app, the social amers could get push notifications on their Windows Phone 7 when their tower was attacked, giving them a timeframe to defend from the attack and prevent the floor from being stolen. The app managed to engage a large number of Microsoft MEA's employees, leading to a small frenzy over who was going to achieve the highest tower and get product prizes for it.

Back when augmented reality was still novelty, we created a system for furniture store Tok&Stok that allowed customers to arrange coded tags into a blueprint, and by showing this print to a designed booth, they were able to get a glimpse if their furniture would match and look good together. Customers could check the total price and check out from the machine itself.

We were asked to design a series of retail posters for Bohemia, a premium beer brand in Inbev's portfolio. We came up with vintage imagery for a series to be put in bars, restaurants and nightclubs. We wanted to reinforce Bohemia's tradition as the first brazilian beer. This poster was the first of them.
